What can I use the Boylesports sign up offer on this weekend?
Manchester City vs Liverpool is the highlight of a sporting weekend which includes Premier League Matchday 26 fixtures, EFL Championship, League 1 and League 2 matches, plus Six Nations Rugby between England and Scotland, all from Friday 21st February through to Monday 24th February 2025.
The Premier League this weekend features Manchester City vs Liverpool from the Etihad Stadium. A Sunday 4:30pm kick-off on Sky Sports, this would have been earmarked as a potential title-decider at the start of the season, however such has been Liverpool’s dominance this term – and City’s decline – that a whopping 17 points separates the two teams before a ball is kicked this weekend.
The midweek football didn’t go either team’s way though with the hosts bowing out of Europe due to Kylian Mbappe’s masterful performance on Wednesday, whilst the Reds could only muster a 2-2 draw away at Aston Villa with Darwin Nunez once again the chief culprit with his glaring miss. Pep Guardiola will hope that Erling Haaland can shake off the knee injury which kept him on the bench at the Bernabeu in a game that City must win if they have any lingering ambitions of reeling in Arne Slot’s team.
This weekend sees 5 televised Premier League matches across Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Friday Night Football sees Leicester vs Brentford from the King Power Stadium, live on Sky Sports at 8pm. Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side are scrapping for their lives near the foot of the table, however with games running out this is a game they must get something out of against a Brentford side who lose as many games as they win.
Saturday sees 12:30pm and 5:30pm kick-offs across TNT Sports and Sky Sports. First up is Everton vs Manchester United at Goodison Park. Everton have been rejuvenated following the return of David Moyes and they’ll be looking for more of the same against a United team that have lost three of their last four Premier League matches and sit a point behind their hosts going into this game. Sky Sports at 5:30pm then show Aston Villa vs Chelsea from Villa Park. Unai Emery’s team will take some confidence from their 2-2 draw against the league leaders on Wednesday and face a misfiring Chelsea team whose form has dried up now that Cole Palmer isn’t finding the scoresheet.
Sunday 16th February sees Manchester City vs Liverpool, but prior to that on Sky Sports with a 2pm kick-off is Newcastle vs Nottingham Forest. The form of both teams has dipped a little of late which sets up for an exciting prospect, however with Newcastle just three points outside of the European spots whilst Forest sit third, both teams should be super motivated to perform in front of the cameras.
Premier League Fixtures, Friday 21st February – Sunday 23rd February:
Friday 21st February
- Leicester City vs Brentford
Saturday 22nd February
- Everton vs Manchester United, Bournemouth vs Wolves, Arsenal vs West Ham, Fulham vs Crystal Palace, Ipswich vs Tottenham, Southampton vs Brighton, Aston Villa vs Chelsea.
Sunday 23rd February
- Newcastle vs Nottingham Forest
- Manchester City vs Liverpool
From an EFL perspective, this weekend sees Burnley v Sheffield Wednesday (Friday 8pm, Sky Sports), Sunderland v Hull (Saturday 12:30pm Sky Sports) and Sheffield United v Leeds (Monday 8pm Sky Sports).
It’s worth remembering that Boylesports will be running their “2 Goals Ahead – Early Payout” promotion markets across all weekend television matches, meaning you get paid out as a winner if your team is winning by 2 goals, even if they draw or lose.
Rugby Union’s Six Nations continues on Saturday with Wales hosting Ireland at 2.15pm, followed by England vs Scotland from Twickenham at 4.45pm. Ireland sit top of the table with two wins from two and face the Welsh who have lost both of their opening matches. England vs Scotland promises to be a much tighter affair though with both teams 1 win from 2 thus far, although the bookies make the home side the strong favourites at around 2/7 as they look to keep in touch with the Irish. Sunday then Italy host France with the French the overwhelming favourites to secure victory in Italian soil. The match is live on ITV at 3pm.
